What are the chances of there being complications?
FAQ 3. As with all medical procedures there is a risk of complications associated with the surgery. It is important to understand those risks clearly and we will work to ensure you are fully informed before committing to having the procedure done. It is important to ask if you have any concerns or queries.
How much will this cost me?
FAQ 4. The overall cost depends on the amount of fat to be removed. One area is no different to another so the cost is a function of the time taken. More fat and more areas will take longer. As an indication, prices generally start at $5,000 including theatre costs and anaesthetic costs.
How quickly can I get back to work?

The liposuction procedure involves removing fat which best achieves the look of particular areas of the body. Weight loss and fat reduction are often confused. The best outcomes are achieved by focusing on the best contour and shape for stubborn and difficult fat deposits. Weight loss is a secondary outcome.
We recommend you enlist a friend to help you with the procedure. This will include driving you to and from the centre. As with many procedures there will be restrictions on food and drink prior to the surgery. You will be advised well in advance about what’s required.

Essentially any place there is fat, from beneath the chin to around the ankles and everything in between. Common areas are abdomen, flanks, back, upper arms, inner and outer thighs.
The body will not reproduce new fat cells to replace those removed during liposuction. The remaining fat cells will still expand and shrink depending on diet and exercise, however the newly created contours are permanent.
